One of the things that surprised me when I joined Zen was how many patients travel from other states for their care. We've had patients fly in from California, New York, Texas, Florida, and everywhere in between. Some come for robotic hair transplants (the ARTAS iX is still relatively rare). Some come for comprehensive regenerative protocols they can't find locally. Some simply want the Zen experience after hearing about it from a friend.
Whatever brings you to Little Rock, my job is to make the logistics disappear so you can focus entirely on your health. Here's how we do it.
Pre-Trip Coordination
Once you've decided to come to Zen, we handle everything:
- Virtual pre-consultation: Meet your clinician via video call before you travel. Review your health history, discuss your goals, and finalize your treatment plan — so there are no surprises on arrival
- Lab work coordination: We can order labs through Quest or LabCorp near your home, or draw them when you arrive (depending on timing requirements for your procedure)
- Travel guidance: Flight recommendations into Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport (LIT), ground transportation options, and driving directions to the clinic
- Hotel arrangements: For patients needing post-procedure recovery, we coordinate stays at The Burgundy Hotel — Zen's preferred recovery partner — with special rates and concierge support
- Scheduling optimization: We stack your appointments to minimize travel time. If you're coming for a hair transplant, we can schedule your pre-op, procedure, and first follow-up within a single trip window
- Medication and supplement shipping: If your protocol requires medications or supplements that need to start before your visit, we ship them to your home in advance
During Your Stay
When you arrive in Little Rock, you're not navigating a new city alone. I provide:
- Personal welcome and clinic orientation
- Restaurant recommendations and reservations (Little Rock has an incredible food scene)
- Direct cell phone access to me and your clinical team — not a call center, not a voicemail
- Daily check-ins during multi-day protocols
- Transportation coordination if needed
For hair transplant patients specifically, the procedure day is typically 6-8 hours. We ensure you're comfortable throughout — meals, refreshments, entertainment, and regular comfort checks. Post-procedure, I'll walk you through your recovery instructions in detail and make sure you have everything you need at your hotel.
After You Go Home
Leaving Little Rock doesn't mean leaving Zen's care. Our follow-up protocol for traveling patients includes:
- Video follow-up appointments at scheduled intervals
- Photo monitoring for surgical patients (you send photos, we review and respond same-day)
- Prescription and medication management — we can call prescriptions into your local pharmacy or ship from our compounding partners
- Lab coordination — we order follow-up labs near your home and review results via telehealth
- Direct messaging access — text or call anytime with questions or concerns
Why Patients Travel to Zen
I'll be honest — there are excellent clinics in every major city. So why do people fly to Little Rock? The answer I hear most often is: "Because no one else offered me this level of care and attention." Big-city practices often run on volume. You're a number. Here, you're a person. You have my cell phone number. Your doctor knows your name. And every detail — from your first call to your 12-month follow-up — is personally coordinated.
If you're considering traveling to Zen, call me. I'll answer every question, address every concern, and build a travel plan that makes the entire experience feel effortless. That's my job, and I love it.
